Kate is the owner and principal trainer at GeoFit. Kate’s interest and dedication to health and fitness is long standing and continues to grow. Her understanding of the requirements and importance of personal health and fitness, together with her background in law enforcement and adult education, was incentive enough to have her complete her training to become a personal trainer.
In 2011, Kate gained her qualification in personal training and group fitness with a Cert 3 and 4 in Fitness and she is certified by the Australian Institute of Fitness as a ‘Master Trainer’. She also holds the qualification of Cert 4 in Training And Assessment, as well as Senior First Aid. This further enables her to spread the word on healthy living and exercise.
Kate draws much inspiration from CrossFit, a more wholistic style of training where functional movements, variation, and high intensity are the keys to positive adaptations. Kate believes that a daily exercise program, no matter how big or small, affects not only the body but also the mind. She is passionate about helping others find and heighten their inner strength and improve their health.
Being a wife, and mother of two children, keeps Kate very busy and she understands how demanding life can be. Even with a busy schedule, she insists that there must always be time to exercise, breathe and live!
